Speaker match for iTube 202 valve amplifier

Hi'

I'm looking for sensitive speakers to match the iTube 202 valve amp, rated at 20W.

Music tastes are varied and include Pink Floyd, Elbow, Slash, Mumford, Dire Straits, Rolling Stones, Snow Patrol and so it goes on

Room is 6m long, 5m wide with a 3m ceiling height (Victorian house), carpeted floor and thick ceiling to floor curtains

Budget is around £750 so if stand mounts they have to be included

Any advice would be appreciated

hi there, you could try the planet duevels for 750 or the entry level Audio note az1 speakers. Both sound great with low powered amplification. I drive my amp in 20 watt mode and it is powerful enough to drive my mezzo 6s and my room is bigger than yours so that might also be worth checking out, great speakers and very unfussy about positioning.
