speaker hz settings ????????????

can anybody help me? i need to set up my new amp and am a bit confussed about all this. the amp asks me whether to set the low, mid and treble frequency from as low as 100hz to 20.000khz can anybody give me a basic rule of thumb as im really unsure. thanks
 
it is full size, the fronts are floorstanders and the rears are bookshelf kind of size
 
These frequency settings sound more like some sort of graphic equalizer settings rather than speaker settings. I guess just play about with them until it sounds good to you.
 
No, the settings decide when the main speakers roll off to the sub, but as the OP doesn't have a sub he should set all his speakers to full range, or to the lowest possible Hz setting, and leave the low, mid and treble set flat.
