Hi I was wondering if someone could give me some advice.
I am refurbishing my lounge and have stripped the walls back to the blockwork, so it is the perfect time to cable in my speaker cables ready for my surround sound system I intend to buy.
I have been looking at the Monitor Audio RS6 AV12 setup but may have to go with bookshelf speakers instead of RXFX's as my staircase is directly behind my sofa and my lounge door is directly to the side of the sofa also. Anyway I'm not here to talk about them, I'm here to ask about cables.
I was wondering if someone could recommend a good speaker cable I can first fix in ready for when I make my final choice on speakers and amp, bearing in mind the speakers I fancy and the amp I am considering is a choice of Onkyo TX-VR808 or Pioneer SC-LX83 (depends on what I think if I can find someone to demo them).
I know people say you get what you pay for, but I've never been a fan of spending money on something you can't see, so something that won't affect the sound quality but won't cost the earth either, would be a perfect balance for me.
Cheers
Steve
