Speaker Cable

Hi

I would like to buy some speaker cable at £15 a metre, and one phono connector for around £40 - £50 a meter.

Can you recommend me any cables which I will get my money's worth off.

The cable nned to bring out the detail out as well as be able to control the low end very well too.

Your commendations will be much Appreciated.

QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cable and I'll throw this one into the hat..... a Merlin Bach interconnect - get them direct from Merlin on e-bay - always a good service imo.

I'd go with Chord Company for the speakers, ÿand not bother with bi-wiring. Carnival silver screen fits the bill and is cheaper than £15/m. The Chord Odyssey is around £15 and very good, but I'd stick with the Silver screen and save a few quid unless you only need short runs.

The Atlas Equator interconnect is right in your budget at around £45. ÿIf you wanted to stay with Chord, then the Crimson or Cobra 3 are both very good for the money.

Chord Odyssey 2, very good cable. Used or cheap Chord Chameleon Silver Plus interconnect. Very good combo of wires indeed. Merry Christmas
