That would depend on what the rest of your system consists of?

The short answer then is yes (read on for a longer one).

Personally I've always despised the QED and would definitely recommend the Chord SS as an alternative.

Not many people agree with bi-wire cables, they are expensive and hold very little significance to improving the sound. Just buy jumper leads to replace the little metal linking bars on the back of your speakers.

liujol:Hi. Would there be a big difference in sound quality if I upgrade my Gale symphony speaker cable to a QED silver anniversary xt bi-wire? Thanks.

With your gear, I would not bother with bi-wiring. I would also save your money and just replace your front three speakers with the QED or similar - I would plump for Chord Rumour.

The biggest improvement will come from the speakers if you upgrade. Cable adds (subtracts or distorts) very very little to the sound unless you have massively long cables where the internal inductance and capacitance of the cable becomes significant. Mind some high cost cables are seemingly designed to do this (modify the sound) on purpose over rather shorter distances.
