speaker advice/opinions sought

hi

need advice on the following please.

should i buy a sonos s5 or a connect amp and use monitor audio ct265 idc

ceiling speakers.

its for a kitchen in a bungalow room size 4ish x 5ish m.

any opinions or experiences on the ceiling speakers would be handy as

i have never used any before.

living room . solo neo monitor audio silver rs1. love the neo.

I've no idea about ceiling speakers or Sonos. FWIW, IMO you'll be better off looking at traditional speakers, as the ones I've heard in shops so on and so forth tend to be less than great, but my knowledge of ceiling speakers is a little thin. Like anything it could depend on your budget.

Seeing as you have a Arcam Solo Neo, it'll need better speakers than the RS1s. I'd still stick with MA but look at RX1 or GX range. otherwise, I'd look at Focal 806V, PMC DB1i or B&W 685.

thanks for the reply, very undecided about the ceiling speakers but interesting advice re the rs1. i will look into that and may upgrade.
