Sound City - Real to Reel

Watched the film last night and enjoyed it so much that i imediately downloaded the soundtrack.

Now, I have the belief that recording sound quality is more down to how it is recorded than the media used to play it, but...

...in the ethos of the movie, and the sound desk in particular I can't help but think I should get the vinyl version.

Worth it? Bearing in mind that I only have a 30 year old Technics turntable.

I did toy with buying the vinyl version, but there's so much other stuff I need to get which I feel is more important to me. But I understand where you're coming from. As long as your deck is in good working order, I'm sure that it'll sound great

Just played it on Spotify, does not sound that good so maybe vinyl is better? Does not do much for me so will not be buying.
