I see in the magazine they don't mention sound cards for PC music, its a bit weird as playing music through the PC is the same as gaming, you wouldn't use a computer without a decent graphics card to play anything good.
I bought my first sound card a while back (SB Audigy) and i could not believe the difference, i always thought the onboard was OK, it was rubbish compared to now. It is so much clearer, really like going from a £50 Hifi to a full separates system.
Has anyone else got the same feeling about this and what card do they use?
