Just received a set of the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones as a birthday pressie - and having read the review I can confirm the comments re the qualities. However, a BIG negative for me, especially in today's world of work from home / lockdown due to Covid-19, there is no ability to mute the mic during phone calls, which, considering the price tag, is criminal. Bose can do this, so I am now seriously considering returning the Sony set to be replaced by the Bose 700s.

Come on Sony - you can do better than this, surely?
