sony strdh810 vs yamaha rxv467

in your opinions guys, which is the better sounding reciever, need some advice as going to purchase one of the two for xmas

I've helped with a mate's 467 up with Tannoy SFX speakers, and heard the DH800, (not 810), with Tannoy EFX, (in a different house), for a few days.

I was really impressed with what the Sony did with 2 channel film sound and music. With film it was very cinematic and crisp. The Yamaha was good, but bass not quite as taught. But the speakers weren't in the final best positions with the Yamaha.

I don't think you would be
disappointed with either, but assuming the 810 carries on the good work of
the 800 I'd maybe go dor that based on sound quality.
