Sony STR-DA2400ES & Jamo A102HCS5

Hi,

Has anyone combined these speakers and amp.

I have got the receiver and was considering pairing it with these speakers.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

It will work depending on your room size. The Sony can be a bit bright/forceful if you have to use a lot of volume. The Jamos are ace though, we normally match them with the Onkyo and the results are great.

I used to have that Jamo package with my old receiver (1200es) which is a similar level to the 2400. As Nick says, the Jamos (for the money) are very good. People spend much much more on those little Bose speakers and there is very little in it. One thing to note, if you are planning on using them for music, don't expect the earth.
