Sony STR DA1200 ES with Pioneer BDP-51FD?

Hi,

I'm considering my final (for a while anyway!) upgrade to my system - the Pioneer BDP-51FD Blu Ray player, which will replace my excellent Denon 1930 DVD player. Pending the firmware upgrade to the BDP-51FD, will I be able to get DTS-HD Master Audio through the Sony amp? If I can, which cable do I use?

Yes, you will need three sets of stereo RCA interconnects. You use one cable for each speaker (front left, right, centre, rear left, right and subwoofer). Your Pioneer will decode the HD audio and sent it straight to the 1200es for amplification.
