Sony S550, will this give me HD audio?

I've got a Denon AV receiver and a PS3... if I buy the S550 Blu-ray player which decodes HD audio, will I therefore not have to replace my AV receiver but be able to get HD sound, or will I still need a new AV receiver?

Yes, you'll get HD audio if you connect to your receiver using the S550's multichannel analogue out's and set it to decode the audio on board
