Im thinking about getting this LCD , What i want to know is , will it look good with Football on Sky HD ?

Have You not considered any Plasma sets? Generally speaking You will find a Good Plasma handles Motion with Football far better than the majority of LCD sets.

Apparently because this TV doesnt have 100hz scanning its not supposed to be as good as other TV's that have it although some reviews I've read (on here too) it has performed just as good, if not better than TV's that have the 100hz scanning.
My biggest worry about buying a TV was that it wasn't going to handle football or action DVD's as i dont want a picture that cant keep up with the pace. Im supposed to be picking mine up this Thursday after a couple of months of trawling the internet for reviews so am hoping i've made the right decision.
Plus, LCD is better for everyday use as you wont get anywhere near as much glare as a Plasma (you wont have to draw the curtains and turn the lights of to watch Top Gear with an LCD)
I take it your looking to buy the Sony!?
