SONY KDL-50W829B picture settings

Hi just purchased the sony tv and want to know what picture settings i should use for best pic quality etc and what settings should be turned off or on low/medium or high as there is so many settings to adjust and not sure where to start

Best thing is to use the THX Optimizer found on some Blu-rays or DVDs to calibrate the screen. It will take you through a series of set-up tests. Alternatvely, you can use the THX Tune-up app for smartphones and tablets (available for iOS and Android).
