Sony KDL-40V4000

Hello there

I am currently looking for a new tv as my old Sony CRT has just bit the dust. i have around £750 to spend and have just been to Comet were i can pick up the Sony KDL-40V4000 and a Sony BDPS350 Blu-ray player for £700. was woundering if there is anybody on here who has this tv and what they think about it.

Think you've got this one wrong........The Blu Ray Player deal cannot be the BDP-S350 ....I think you will find it's the previous model BDP-S300 which from memory I think you can now also get on Amazon for around £175

The SONY shop is doing the deal for £799 and if you call them I think it comes with a guarantee on the KDL-40V4000 TV in excess of 1 year but don't quote me on that....give them a ring quickly as this offer finishes on 31st August tomorrow as part of their Blue X Sale

Hi.....I think you're right after all...my apologies.....let's hope it isn't a typo error but if you are getting the new SONY Blu Ray Player with this TV for an all inclusive £700 don't hang around.....this is a great deal if indeed it does include the new SONY Blu Ray Player

Hi there Tallyho, when i seen this on their website i thought it was also a typo error, but after going to my local Comet store and asking, it is indeed the new Sony BD player that is in this offer, so it looks like i will be getting this deal ASAP.

I will def be getting this deal. Do you think there will be a major difference in picture compared to my old panasoic 37thpx60b plasma to this sony, while watching sd and blu ray????

Anyone got this deal yet? What's the tv like with blu ray, is there a major difference between the v and w?

Mine is here next week. I'll let you know when I get it. The offer is gone - it's now £100 dearer without the Bluray player!! Pleased I jumped....
