Anyone got any views/ experience with this set ? Its available for just under £600 and is looking a very tempting proposition, especially after some mixed reviews on the new Panny TX-P37X10B.

For that price its a good set and the internals are not that different to the V4000 to be honest. The V5500 is a MUCH better set, but then its considerably more.

At that price I'd also be looking at the Samsungs and LGs. Some good sets from both brands these days.

Forbes, I just compared the L4000 placed in the middle of a W400 and a W4500 , and although the image is not bad, the W4000 just handles motion better. The L4000 compared with the w4000, seems that is missing a few frames in the movie.

i actually have one of these sets on loan as i wait to pick up my Z4500 on the weekend.......and i have to say if it had another hdmi slot (only has 2) i would be very tempted to keep it. The picture quality is very good for the price, Blurays looks fantastic as does SD picture (i'm running through a sky+ box) . i play my PS3 and xbox 360 through it and have no problems at all....i'm sure you could find some flaws if you were extra picky cause it doesn't have 100hz or such, but for the price its a great bit of kit, recommended indeed.

have a look around cause its going for a good price now....mine is from richer sounds and when i give it back they say it will be going for less than £400!
