Hi folks,

First off, could anyone let me know if this TV has scart inputs? Also, I believe it has a digital optical OUT, would this allow me to run my PVR and DVD audio out of the single optical OUT to my hi fi, rather than both individually as I now have to? Ta.

Yup, it's got two RGB Scart inputs.

It isn't clear as the manual doesn't actually state clearly what happens, but from what I can see, it suggests this is possible. I'm getting this from the Troubleshooting section on page 52 which says "When using HDMI input with Super Audio CD or DVD-Audio, DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) may not output audio signals". To me, this suggests it will output audio from other inputs. Probably worth checking with your dealer first though if this is a deal breaker. However, it does say it can only output Dolby Digital or PCM, meaning any DVDs which are encoded with DTS won't work - for this reason, it's probably worth assuming you'll still want to hook your DVD player directly to the amp.
