It's not clear how much warranty are you getting with Curry's. Both Richer Sounds and John Lewis will price match Curry's offer with £150 off and Richer Sounds will beat it by £20. You get 5 years warranty with John Lewis and 6 years with Richer Sounds.
"For most uses, the Samsung Q80T is better than the Sony X900H. The Q80T has a faster response time, lower input lag, and it supports VRR, making it a better option for gaming. The Q80T also gets brighter in HDR content to make highlights pop and its reflection handling is significantly better. However, the X900H has a higher contrast ratio, better local dimming, and although it doesn't have VRR support now, it will come in a future firmware update" Rtings 👇🏻 ![]() Samsung Q80/Q80T QLED vs Sony X900H Side-by-Side TV ComparisonFor most uses, the Samsung Q80/Q80T QLED is better than the Sony X900H. ![]() I'm considering the 55"q90t, Sony 55"XH950 and the Philips 55"OLED805 torn between the three panels! Sometimes it is best to go with the better value set. I'm not sure if better deals will be had between January and March |
I've recently bought Sony KD75XH9005BU and it's an outstanding TV. The Samsung is £200 dearer and an excellent TV too. If you decide on the Sony, Costco has it cheapest. It only costs £15 for online Costco membership. And Richer Sounds will beat the price by £20 if you ask for price match. So you will get it for just under £1000.

BB how do you find the gray uniformity on this panel? Can you detect any (dse) dirty screen effect in sports content. My current set the Sony W905a suffers with mild dse when watching football and cricket. I'm looking to upgrade and curious to see how Sony is dealing with this in 2020 🤔
You won't get a 65-inch LG OLED for £1000. In my case, I had set a budget of £1500 for a 75-inch TV.I thought LG pretty much ruled these days, or are they more like £1500 plus so beaten on value if not outright performance?
Look out for stutter on 50hz broadcasts as is being reported with 2020 Samsung sets.
