When the power is switched off the recorder, I lose all the TV channels and have to restore them using the "set up" function.

The recorded prorammes are unaffected, but any future recording dates using EPG are lost.

How can I fix this ?

When you say "power switched off" do you mean power off at the mains or the recorder into standby mode?

My mate has a similar problem with the same model, I think.....

Will ask him tomorrow, and report back to you about his machine......
