Sony DAV-IS10 - A worthwhile upgrade

Thinking of upgrading to this system. I like compact speakers with a good output and on the basis of What Hi Fi reviews I bought the Acoustic Energy P5 kit several years ago - I was not dissapointed.

Could anyone tell me if the Sony is likely to be a marked improvement on this now ageing kit.

Sorry, this got lost. As long as you don't have a huge room, the Sony should be a great system for you.

My living room is 15ft by 12ft approx. Would this room size be ok for the Sony system?

Also in terms of Pro Logic sound (which is what the tv reception is played back in) is there a noticeable improvement between Pro Logic and Pro Logic II.

Go for it. You'll be amazed how the unit this size can produce the sound. Noted: for the first couple weeks, crack the volume up around 60 to callibrate the speakers.
