I have the above Sony Blue Ray model which is a multi region. However it seems to only play multi region dvds. I have recently tried an American Blue Ray disc and it didnt work. Seemingly i need a code to be able to use multi region blue ray discs. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help with this? I have no idea what the code is or where i can get it from!

It is multi region for DVD only.

If you want multi region Bluray then the player has to be chipped which is quite expensive, and will invalidate the warranty.

There is no easy solution to your problem.
