Sony Blu-ray vs Sony Blu-ray

I have decided to go for the BDP-S350 from Sony but have seen the BDP-S500 for £250
Would I be better going for the bargain BDP-S500 or play safe and plump for the BDP-S350.

Hi PD, I have the S350 myself and would recommend it over the S500. Although its a lesser model in terms of model number I believe the revised spec is much better, the images are fantastic and the load time is only about 10 secs - I think the older models take up to a minute but dont quote me on that. The S350 is smaller and quiter running too. No contest as far as I'm concerned.

The other consideration is which one is the better CD player as I am trying to cut down on my Components.

Again i'd go with the S350. The WHF team gave it a thumbs up and I have compared it against my hi-fi playing the same cd. Compared to my hi-fi there was less resolution and weight but not too shabby if you want to cut down your comps.

I think it will be the S350 for me just got to find the best price now.
I've seen it on Amazon for £192.
