sony bdps350 blu-ray player no dts- audio, can i still get dts-hd audio using hd amp?

hi. can i still get dts-hd audio by using the onboard dts-hd chip in my onkyo hd amplifier , and let the amplifier do the decoding not to sure if you can get dts-hd audio that way.

Yes you can.

I too have the 350 and an Onkyo amp. The Sony will send the signal and the Onkyo can decode it, giving you the Dolby True-HD and DTS: HD Master Audio.
