Hi Jimralston,

the DAV-F200 is a great budget home cinema system. Were you planning on trying to connect the Blu-ray player to the F200. From memory i don't think it has the required inputs to accept sound or pass through a high-def picture.ÿ

Hi Andy

I know it has only 1 hdmi and that's for the built-in dvd player but i was hoping I could pass the sound from the Sony 350 blu-ray through this unit if possible, I think it has a few audio imputs, if not it's back to the drawing board.

I personally just wouldn'tÿrecommendÿbuying the Sony DAV-F200 for your blu-ray player. The speakers would mask the Blu-ray player's true potential and the built in DVD would be a waste of money.

hi thanks for the reply, the reason for choosing the dav f200 is I don't have the space for all the speakers I though the dav f200 would be a good compromise I know it won't be anything like true surround sound I just wanted to beef up my tv sound.
