I'm getting this message on my Blu Ray player when trying to get into the BBC iplayer online service. I've just sent an email to Sony support and am wondering whether anyone else has had this problem and whether it has been resolved.

Have you tried clearing your 570's memory. It fills up quickly if you use a lot of online streaming. Go to your setup menu and you'll find the option to delete memory as the player dose not do this it's self.

I can't find any set up option to delete memory. Under "BD Data Storage options" I've found a facility to change from internal memory to USB device. At the moment it is set to internal memory.

See very top of p17 in the BDP-S570 manual:

To delete data in the internal memory or USB memory, select "Erase BD Data" in the Video menu [the symbol on the crossbar that looks like a piece of film], and press ENTER. When the USB memory is used as local storage, all data stored in the buda/budb folder will be erased.

Eureka. Thanks everyone. However, having got into the BBC iplayer, I find that The Tudors is not listed. That's life!

Yes, I can find it on my desktop but not on the 7 day version accessed by the Sony 570. I don't suppose there is a way of copying the file onto media playable by the 570?

Sorry, the option is to clear all Blu-Ray live data. This might give you the space you require. It's the top option in the video menu. Have you used a lot of Blu-Ray live?

Very odd. Do you have some parental content controls engaged, perhaps? Don't have a machine to hand here to check otherwise.

I checked parental controls which were set to not restricted. For the Saturday in question, the 22nd, every other programme is listed. Missing is Dad's Army, 'Allo, 'Allo and the Tudors among others. I would be interested to know whether this is the same for all 7 day BBC iPlayer broadcasts, or just is a Sony bug.

Incidentally, when I went onto the BBC iPlayer again, I got the "Not enough memory" mesage. It looks as though I will need to clear this for each access whether or not I have downloaded any programme.
