Sony BDP-S350 Surround SoundSpeakers??

I have a PS3 but I amThinking of getting a Sony BDP-S350 Blu Ray player but confused about the possiblity of connecting up surround sound speakers to the player. Would anyone be able to help with recomendations?? Would i need an AV reciever?? can I connect the PS3 to surround sound system? HELLLLPPPP!!!

You'll need an A/V receiver. The 350 has no in built amplification.

To get the full benefit, you'll need an A/V receiver that decodes the HD formats. Prices start at about £300 for the Sony STR-DG820.

The 350 will connect to an A/V receiver via HDMI, and then the screen is in turn fed from the A/V receiver via HDMI.
