Hi all - please treat me gently - this is my first post!
I think I have made my mind up...
I have had a Sony KV32FQ75 32 inch CRT screen for many years, and it's done me proud - the only dubious thing about it was sound quality, but I pipe the audi through a Bose Lifestyle 28 anyway, so that is not a concern.
I've been watching plasmas and lcds for the last couple of years, and decided when the price comes down enough, to make the jump.
I had made my mind up on the Pioneer plasma, but have recently seen some of the newer Sony LCD screens.
I like Sony, and have always used their CRTs for computer monitors in the past. I also like their styling.
Their 52X3500 seems to be the best of the bunch - the software seems to make the screen quicker, which was always an issue with LCD (in my mind)
However, the 52W4000 is just hitting stores now. Has anyone seen one yet, moreover has anyone done a direct side by side comparison with the X3500?
At the moment, I am thinking it might be better to stick with the proven 'X' rather than put my neck on the line with the new model.
I would appreciate your comments!
Thanks.
