Sony 46inch help

OK, not sure which Sony 46inch LCD I should get. Cash is a little tight so about £1000 tops as will need to get an amp (prob Sony 820 as the Theatre Sync would be good and the Jamo style speaker set).

Not sure which set to go for. I have seen the Sony KDL46V3000 for around £830 but not sure if this is any good or not.

Help/advice/better deals all greatly appreciated.

BTW, the Sony 820 Amp - does this have the Sky HD HDMI connection issue and if so how do I check the firmware on the one I am buying or how can you upgrade it? Ta!

Sony assures us that all the STR-DG820 units now in the shops have been fixed and should deliver multichannel audio from Sky boxes via the optical digital connection rather than HDMI. In the unlikely event that you get one that doesn't work properly, Sony will have to fix it.
