I bought a nice clean vinyl version of this today and it sounds great. I am a little confused though as one disc has sides 1 and 4 and the other has sides 2 and 3. Was this normal for this album release on vinyl? Any info would be great. Thanks.

That is curious and I cannot check my copy as I'm away at the mo. Long before this album that layout sometimes appearerd because it would work on an autochanger - remember them?

I had one in my parents home, I could put up to 5 LPs...

Hi, Jim. Yes, that numbering is correct for that album.

There should also be "A Something Extra" bonus 45 rpm disc, in a plain white sleeve (it is mentioned on the back of the main sleeve, below the other titles.

Also there should be a 24 page lyric booklet, both of which are mentioned on the front cover.

Re the odd numbering sequence, I also have a box sets of swing records, each with with three discs, and they're numbered side1 &6, 2&5,3&4, so it's not an uncommon practice.

Enjoy Stevie, he produced some great music; try his early stuff.
