It sounds like you’re getting a really nice upgrade in sound quality overall!
The clarity and detail you’re experiencing are definitely a step up. As for the bass, it could be that the new setup is revealing more low-end than you're used to, especially if it’s a bit more pronounced than before. Sometimes with upgraded gear, you get a different presentation of frequencies, and it can take a bit of time to adjust.

If you’re not a fan of the more pronounced bass, you might be able to fine-tune the settings on your amp or speakers to dial it back a little. If that doesn’t help, a small tweak with speaker placement could also make a difference in how the bass is being projected.

Glad to hear it’s an overall positive experience.
Yes - from my starting point 2 and a bit years ago (Denon PMA-800NE amp, Audio Tecnica AT-LP-5 turntable, Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speaker, Marantz CD6005 and Google chromecast audio) to my current set up, it genuinely feels / sounds like a world apart.

I get that about the different presentation - and it definitely does dig out much more detail in the bass than I'd ever heard. And as, over the last couple of years, I have become more interested in hearing bass lines etc, it's a very good thing.

And I am not disappointed - at all, I am actually torn between really liking it and a smidgen of doubt - which I guess it's a good starting point for habituation.
