I'm no expert but I bought an Onkyo 725 with a pair of MA BR1s to replace my Technics micro system and it is a huge improvement. The system gives a nice, warm sound which fills the room - especially with the super bass function on. To my ear it provides a very detailed mid-range too.
Pretty much spot on with that description, and i have different speakers (brighter). Thanks once again for your accurate reply JC1982.
