Is this a good dac ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SMSL-Sanskrit-6th-32bit-192kHz-USB-DAC-Coaxial-Optical-Decoder-SD1955-Upgrade-/271711419811?hash=item3f43433da3:g:H8gAAOSw3KFWd7v2

Have heard about this one http://smsl-audio.com/index.php?c=msg&id=1352& in a danish forum and it should be very good

I thought the first one i link to would be expensive since i have seen the 24 bit version for 110£ on amazon (the upgrade version) but the same version for 70£ on ebay all new

I do wish there would be a version with adjustable gain so the input from my cd wouldn't be so loud as it is at 9'o clock 10'o clock very loud and 11'o clock distortion with most cd's although some ar not recorded that loud

Any surgestion on such a dac that has adjustable gain and input for optical and coaxial for less then 100£,134€ (not just a little less the 100£/134€)

I have the SMSL M2 DAC and it was wonderfull until Windows Update bricked the eprom. Now it works only on non-Windows machines.
