Hi all , new to all this stuff and V confused

just got sky and new viera telly and need new scart lead why are there different scart leads and does it matter cause qed seem to do a good one in two different versions , a fully wired and an rgb .

your help much appreciated .

A fuly wired SCART carries picture & audio whereas a RGB SCART is picture only. You want a fully wired SCART until you maybe decide to put sound via receiver. You may also wish to upgrade to Sky + and get connected via a HDMI lead.

Just so you know, the idea behind having an RGB Scart which doesn't carry the audio is it means there's less potential interference with the video signal and thus a better picture.
