We have SKY HD (but not the HD package) set up in the house where we can receive all TV arial points throughout the house, but we are we are now considering having multi-room installed in the childrens playroom. However I have a couple of questions:

1. Do I need another SKY box to manage this ?.

2. If I need another box, can it be a HD box ?.

3. Can I record on this additional box, whilst recording on our existing HD box ?

Thanks in advance.

If you're talking about proper Sky multi-room,for the extra £10/month, rather than using the RF2 output then:

1) Yes

2) Yes but doesn't have to be, however to get HD you'll need to pay the additional £10/m HD levy per box that you want HD on

3) If it's a Sky+ box and you have two feeds from the dish for it, yes.
