Sky + HD box- subs run out

We are thinking of buying either Sky +HD box or Foxsat box. Can anyone tell us when 12 months subscription runs out with Sky will we still receive the same free HD channels (as with Foxsat) through the sky box even if we are no longer paying subscritpion to Sky?

You'll get the FTA channels yes,however you will lose the record/pause/rewind functionality of Sky+HD without subscription.
