sky hd and the sonos playbar

my current tv (6 year old panasonic 50 in plasma) does not have a optical out so direct connection to playbar is not an option however Sky hd DOES have optical out my questions. . will the playbar work direct from sky hd and will there be any lipsinc problems or is it just oa case of waiting for a new tv

Hi, it should work from your Sky box - if there are any lipsync problems then there is a degree of adjustment available on your Sky box under the 'settings' menu.
