Can you please advice which AV receiver can be a better match for the Monitor Audio Silver RX?

Do you think it is worth choosing a 3D receiver (and which one) or to go for a bargain not 3D receiver?

Denon 3311 (3D)

Marantz SR7005 (3D)

Sony STR-DA5400ES

Yamaha DSP-Z7

Pioneer SC-LX82

I would go for the highly regarded PIONEER SC-LX82 without any hesitation at all. Also it's come down from £2000 to £1300 if you look on the internet and did i mention that it's totally awsome in every regard, trust me you will nkot be dissapointed at all.

The Yamaha DSPZ7 or the SCLX82 are both fantastic amps, and you won't go wrong with either. The Yamaha is slightly softer and warmer, and the Pioneer is a little more up front and lively.

If you feel 3D is something you might want in the near future soon then a 3D compatible amp such as the AVR3311 will work well with the Silver RX's. Other then this Yamaha's superb DSP-Z7 is an excellent match for the Silver RX's. This is a combination which can be listened to for hours without fatigue.

Ime Yamaha AV amps + Monitor Audio speakers = great match (time after time)

Btw, which Silver RX models are you interested in/do you use please?
