Very difficult to get an accurate colour match on a website.

Well alright then, more azure than turquoise. Just been hunting through a pile of cables to try to find one, so I can more accurately describe the colour, but I don't have one to hand.

Whatever, the point is that there's only one colour, and that's what you get when you buy the cable, so to answer the OP's question it's not 'the luck of the draw when you buy one'.
