Should I buy the Samsung Le37R8?

A friend of mine wants to sell me his used Samsung Le37R8. The price he
gave seems reasonable for this two-year old version (under £300).

However, I searched on the internet and found little info on this TV.

Could you pls give me your advice? Is it worth buying this TV?

Thank you for your kind reply. I chat with a Samsung staff on the phone, and he could not find substantial info on this TV. Perhaps there is a missing character after the 8.

Well, at least if you find out which one it is you can get the manual from that page I linked to before, and maybe rustle up some online reviews or opinions...
