I have Shanling M2X based on single AKM ak4490en.
Second player is Shanling M3 Ultra based on Sabre ESS9219C. I listen on headphones Letshuoer S12 Pro (planar IEM, BALANCED)
I have reservations about the resolution in high tones, details in the case of Shanling M3 Ultra.
That is why I am thinking of exchanging Shanling M3 Ultra for Shanling M6 Ultra (based on 4x AKM AK4493SEQ).
Is M6 Ultra better ? It seems to me that there are more details on M2X compared to M3U. This is a small difference but audible to me, I think so.
