setting up Sony DAV-DZ260 5.1 BRAVIA

Hi, can anyone help. I have just got a Sony DAV-DZ260 5.1 BRAVIA home theatre system and rigged it up to my Samsung Lcd which all works fine when playing a DVD. The problem is I can't get the sound to work when watching a film on a normal tv channel, has any one got any ideas of what I'm doing wrong

Hi,

Have you connected the TV to the system so that sound can pass from the TV to the amplification within the DAV-DZ260?
