Setting up an Acoustic Energy Radiance Sub

Does anyone have basic tips for setting up my sub. It has so many controls on that I'm surely getting it wrong.

I assume it has set up instructions?

One tip that I read a lot is not to turn the gain up to far, if anything be conservative with it.

If you go onto youtube and search for setting up a sub, there are lots of videos how to place one in a room.
