Hey

As you know just getting to grips with the SC-LX72 and RX6.

I was wondering, if watching a heavy bass movie and the fronts set to large, could the speakers blow?

I have a RSW12 as well, just wondering setting the fronts to large and the subwoofer to sub plus on the mcacc setting.

Thanks

Unlikely thats why you have a crossover to take the really deep stuff away from the speakers to the sub.

I've just used the MCACC auto set up on mine Canada and it set everything to Large. Sounds great to me and I think that the MA speakers are very capable of dealing with high power transients

My old Pioneer set the RX1 to large as well.

Not sure why it does this, but had to change.

Will leave it set to large then, just didnt want them going POP on a bomb blast or something

ipad would be so sweet, but am waiting for a second generation, as feel they could have more support for stuff.

Plus got my eye on a LG 50PK990. as they can be had for around 950.00 with a free 5 year warranty.

Anyway, the sc-lx72 is amazing, far far better at low level night watching, I sometimes have to turn it down to -35db were as my old amp VSX819 was up to around -10 to -20 db.

The RX6 with the amp are stunning, I am still shaking my head, the wife turned to me the other day when we were watching a movie and a song came on in True HD and she said OMG close your eyes, its like they are right in the room with you, and she hates my Hifi geekyness.. LOL

I would recomend this system to my granny, and if I had the money I would buy it again.
