Need some advice about to buy the Samaung 8000 series 55" TV my question is as I have a Yamaha RX1900 receiver will I need to buy a DVD with dual HDMI.

You mean a blu ray player with dual HDMI.

Yes, if you want 3D & no if you only want 2D.
