Would have loved to know how good these earbuds are with explosions. I use latest Sony M4 earbuds for television via a headphone bluetooth adapter, detail of soundstage is amazing but explosions I reach for the down volume. Also what are these Sennheisers like with music?

I'm sure these earphones are great but $600 AUD for watching the tele, umm, that's a hard NO. If it was for a family & included 4 sets for that price, maybe. A mid priced soundbar is way better value.

Maybe headphones should have a built in limiter for listening to action movie scenes to protect our ears from volume spikes
