Am going to buy some Sennheiser PXC 310 BT headphones for late night movie watching and gaming on PS3 after my little girl chewed through the cable on my beyerdynamic phones whilst watching a film!. I want to take advantage of the apt-x upgrade with the headphones and was wondering if anyone can tell me if the PS3 is apt-x compatible or it is in the pipeline for a PS3 update, or will I need to buy the bt300 usb transmitter anyway? Thanks for any info from anyone in the know.
