Seeking recommendations for 22 inch LCD with decent audio

Hi everyone, first time poster here ...

I'm looking for recommendations on a 22 inch LCD TV... with decent audio, if such a thing exists. The idea is for a wall mounted TV, with Freeview and HDMI to connect to a Media Centre Extender eventually - all in the bedroom.

External speakers aren't an option in the room, so I'm trying to find a unit that does it all really. I've toyed with the Samsung LE22A656 which looks good, but I've heard that the 2 x 3W RMS speakers let it down.

I'm still scouring reviews but would be grateful for any opinions ...

Really depends what you mean by decent. Generally IMHO Panasonic LCD's don't have bad audio However all LCD's are much improved if you can port the audio out to something better. In some cases even a 2.1 set-up designed for a PC will give improved sound. Some of the "high end" Creative set-ups are not to bad. (Not Hi Fi but an improvement over the built in speakers).

I can only talk for 20 inchers, but I would avoid LG audiowise. My Sharp is reasonable, and my experience of Philips' sound is very good, if that's any help.

I'm very happy with my Sony KDL-23B4050 which is 23 inches. It has good sound, and sits well in the kitchen. You should note that its stand is incorporated into the design, so I'm not sure how it would look on the wall, but it might be fine.
