Second Sky box

I have had 2 sky box systems for the past few years, i plan to order the HD box very soon but will be left with the sky + box and an old one. I was planning on having the TV in my back room fed by the sky+ box but only with the freeview channels, HD will be set up with the plasma in the main lounge, will i need a different card to just use the sky+ box for freeview.

you'll be able to use your box to view the un-encrpted free channels without a card, but afaik you wont be able to use the pvr to record as i think you need a subcription for this to work,also some of the free channels are still encryted the c4 ones and c5 ones for example, but i'm assuming that as you already have two box's you'll have cards for them, so if you leave the card in the box, you'll be able to get the encrypted free channels also, even after sky turn the card off, i know sky used to supply cards for the free channels, but then they stopped, and you could get them from the bbc for your sky, but not sure now, but as i said as long as you leave your old card in the box you shouldnt have a problem,
