SB3 and duet DACs?

Not really sure this is the place but mainly HiFiish i guess.

Looking to add another SqueezeBox product to the house for sound in the kitchen.

currently have the SB3 in the main room playing through a DacMagic

the kitchen will just be a phone to 3.5 into a pair of powered JVC speakers. would you put the duet there or the SB3 considering that the "player" in the main room will still be going through the DacMagic?

I'd put the Duet in whichever room will have the most music going on, as the whole point of it is the ease of use handset... don't think the sound is any different. Personally if you are going into cheapo JVC speakers I wouldn't worry about feeding them via the DacMagic.

you missed it, the Dac is in the main room.

But i think i have decided the SB touch in the main room and the SB3 in the kitchen. dont need the duet remote really as i have the iPhone.

(when it is released)
